Understanding Traffic Signs: An Internet-Enhanced Lesson
A quick look through downtown reveals that there are loads of road signs that drivers must interpret as they travel. In this lesson, we will learn what many of the traffic signs mean and we will explore our local area, looking for signs. We'll take loads of pictures and upload them to flickr. We will sort the signs according to their purpose on our Wikispace. We will then be using the information we gained during our community trip to create some online maps, detailing the locations of the signs. Our first step, though, is to do some background investigating about traffic signs.
